Growth in Blue Denmark

Denmark is among the world's leading maritime nations. All in all, Danish maritime companies account for about one-fourth of Denmark's exports, and a total of about 4 per cent of Danish jobs are directly or indirectly derived from Blue Denmark.

The Danish Maritime Authority cooperates closely with the industry to support the Danish maritime cluster and secure growth and jobs in Blue Denmark. This involves, inter alia, a constant focus on the framework conditions of shipping and on new business opportunities for the maritime industries - be it within special maritime segments in the offshore sector, in the arctic regions or green solutions for the shipping industry.
