Maritime business policy

The purpose of the maritime business policy is to support the Danish maritime cluster in order to secure growth and jobs in Blue Denmark. Blue Denmark's competitiveness and international recognition go hand-in-hand with Denmark's reputation as a quality shipping nation.

The Danish Maritime Authority is engaged in the implementation and development of the Government's business policy in the maritime field.

At the centre of the maritime business policy is Denmark's maritime cluster, also referred to as Blue Denmark.

The Danish Maritime Authority's work in this field is carried out in cooperation with organisations, companies, R&D institutions, the EU system, representatives of other countries as well as Danish ministries and agencies.
