Strategic Sector Cooperation

The Danish Maritime Authority cooperates with the authorities in China, Ghana and Kenya to promote sustainable development in the maritime sector. The cooperation strengthens bilateral relations and can contribute to increased contact between Blue Denmark's actors and the counterparties in the partner countries for the benefit of both parties.

The government cooperation provides an opportunity to promote Danish solutions in a number of different sectors. 

The Danish Maritime Authority is part of several maritime authority collaborations, which include deals with the following points:

  • Improved E-Navigation at sea, for the benefit of seafarers and the authorities
  • Greener and more climate-friendly shipping
  • Exchange of knowledge and experiences between Danish and local maritime authorities, with regard to to help increase maritime security
