Ship safety covers safety on board, including the safety of crewmembers. Ship safety is one of the Danish Maritime Authority's overall focus areas and we have special focus on maritime occupational health regulations.

The Danish Maritime Authority and other maritime institutions around the world have increased focus on the global challenges of piracy. Therefore, it is essential to have coordinated efforts in close cooperation with the Defence.
