Annual meeting of the Consultative Shipping Group

Interesting updates and valuable discussions of the main challenges for global shipping at the annual meeting of the Consultative Shipping Group.

Today, the Consultative Shipping Group (CSG) held its annual meeting with over 60 participants from the 18 member states and the European Commission. 
 
The main topics discussed were the COVID19-pandemic, climate action and market access. The CSG meeting was held as an online meeting due to the COVID19-pandemic. 
 
“The CSG in an important international forum for maritime administrations to share knowledge and perspectives on global trends and issues on an informal basis. Today, we discussed key challenges for global shipping and lessons learned from the COVID19-pandemic to inspire further action at national and international levels," says Chairman of the CSG Andreas Nordseth, Director General of the Danish Maritime Authority.
