The Danish Maritime Authority is now preparing a proposal for amendment on the Danish maritime spatial plan

On June 7th 2023, a political agreement was signed by all the parties of the Parliament in which they agreed on a list of changes that are to be made on the Danish Maritime Spatial Plan.

The Danish Maritime Authority is now working to get a draft prepared together with the working group on the Danish MSP. Once the draft is ready, it has to be environmentally assessed and sent into consultation, both nationally and internationally in accordance with the Espoo-convention.

According to the political agreement the consultation should begin no later than the 30th of September.

The Danish Maritime Authority is looking forward to receiving consultation responses on the amendment in both consultation processes.
